Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure, NC wedding photography

Wedding on a beautiful sunny day in May by the Lake surrounded by mountains. Need I say more? It is just perfect. Rumbling Bald Resort is the one that sounds absolutely gorgeous and fun, especially for wedding events. I always love taking pictures somewhere very open, relaxing, and not crowded. Rumbling Bald Resort is one of my favorite places for wedding photography.

I met Bates and Sarah for their engagement photography session about a year ago. I knew instantly that they were sweet, fun, kind and caring. I saw them again at their wedding and felt like I had finally seen my long lost friends!! I was super excited to be able to capture their such personalities in the pictures and document their beautiful wedding story while sticking around them on their entire wedding day.

From the bride and groom's getting ready moment to the very grand exit, there were lots of emotions going on. I laughed with them and cried with them behind the camera. Sarah's dad had passed away after a battle of cancer. She had a heart that symbolizes her dad's love sewn on the left side inside her wedding dress. As she walked down the aisle by herself, she was just glowing and as gorgeous as can be. Bates the sweet and tender hearted guy just started to tear up. (Oh I love what I do and what I get!) It was so peaceful at the beach with the beautiful sunlight shining down on Bates and Sarah. I'm sure Sarah's dad was looking down from heaven feeling very proud of and happy for them as they tied the knot.
